Our Story
Advent United FC was born from a shared love for sports and faith among a group of Seventh-day Adventists and Christians in North York, Ontario. Recognizing the challenge of participating in traditional Saturday leagues due to religious observances, we saw an opportunity to create something unique—a club that combines competitive sports with fellowship, community, and inclusivity. Our journey began with a vision to unite players of all ages and backgrounds through the beautiful game of soccer. Today, we proudly celebrate our growing community as we continue to write our story, one goal at a time, inspiring youth, young adults, and families to join us in building a legacy both on and off the field.
Our Vision
At Advent United FC, we aspire to be more than just a sports club—we aim to be a cornerstone of unity, empowerment, and faith in our community. Our vision extends beyond soccer, as we seek to provide meaningful opportunities for youth and young adults to grow athletically, socially, and spiritually. This includes a dedicated program for young females to engage in soccer and, soon, in other sports like basketball as we expand.
We dream of a future where Advent United FC evolves into a multi-sport community hub with teams and leagues for all ages and skill levels, creating spaces where everyone feels welcome. By fostering an environment of mentorship, sportsmanship, and personal growth, we aim to empower players to excel both on the field and in their everyday lives. With unwavering faith, perseverance, and a commitment to inclusivity, we strive to leave a lasting legacy that uplifts the next generation of leaders and athletes.
